If LDAP was the only backend in which we stored accounts (ever), 
then I would agree but the scripts are the best solution for managing 
the UNIX portion of the users and groups.  It means that we don't have to 
debug that functionality in ever passdb backend ever written.  We only 
maintain the delete script functionality in smbd.
