       Hello Paul Green,
       How are you doing ?
       Are there any written instructions on turning on debug 
       for my issue for "unable to open passdb database"  ?
       Smbd process hangs after this error in the log...

      Hello PG,
      There appears to be a number of hits on
      "unable to open passdb database" before the Samba crash. 

      Would this cause the crash ?

  smbd version 2.2.8a started.
