I am seeing a wierd problem where SAMBA connection being dropped in the
middle of an open transaction and I really need some help to figure out.

I have HP-UX 11.11 running Samba 2.2.3a sharing few files to a Windows
client. Client is a 64bit WinPE (Preinstall env) connecting
to this shares and using Powerqest tools to deploy an PQI image hosted in
the shares. There are 10 image files each about 100MB and totalling 1.2 GB.
For last six months, we never had this problem and all of a sudden we
started seeing SAMBA connection gets dropped in the middle of execution.
If I keep watching SWAT, I see the open files and all of a sudden the
connection breaks and execution hangs.

I have turned on the smbd and nmbd daemon's debug level to 3 and changed
deadtime parameter and keepalive to zero.
I see some interesting lines in the LOG files (syslog and log.smbd).

Syslog.log talks about connection time out from a IP which is a GATEWAY ( I
do not know if there is anything have changed w.r.t. the gateway setting).
log.smbd is also reporting some smb error and exiting server.
I have attached the chunk of the log files which are related to the test.

Please let me know if you need any more date to provide me with any clue
what is going on.
