It is the ldap-server from novel. I don't know exactly what the rfcs say, but
this server seems to enforce the data-integrety in a much harder way, because
it seems to me that this one doesn't allow inconsistent data in one
transaction.

I think this patch should cause no harm to openldap but I did not test it here.
But if this patch works, I think it should be applied.
