Samba 3.0.0 RC1 Panic on saving excel files

Hello,

With the latest samba 3.0.0 CVS version (as well as previous CVS versions)
I cannot save files from excel '97. Files are stored as a temp file with
no extension and a combination of characters. Reopening that file works
and I can save it again as the intended filename but save it again deletes
the file and creates the temp file again.

The filessystem I use is XFS and to make sure it isn't the filesystem I
also recompiled a 2.4.21 kernel with XFS support.

Samba is compiled with acl support. I also experimented with setting
kernel oplocks to false but no result.

I have a log file with log level 10 where a samba panic is mentioned.
  ===============================================================

  INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11 in pid 16380 (3.0.0rc1)
  Please read the appendix Bugs of the Samba HOWTO collection

  ===============================================================
[2003/08/12 12:17:20, 0] lib/util.c:smb_panic(1462)
  PANIC: internal error

The rest of the log file can be send on request because it's kind of big
for a mailinglist (842kB).

Regards,

Marc Groot Koerkamp.
