Solaris 8, Samba 2.2.8a and VFS

Hi!

Does VFS modules work with Solaris 8? I think so, correct? If yes, which 
LDFLAGS et al are needed for compiling? Browsing through 
samba/samba-technical archive didn't show an definitive answer.

I currently try to resolve an issue with my VFS modules on Solaris 8, 
but as I don't own a Sol8 maschine, I can't really help
