Clarification on Group Policies

You could potentially host the filesystem component of a GPO on a SAMBA
server by modifying the gPCFileSysPath atribute of the GPO entry in AD.

dn: cn={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},cn=Policies,cn=System,dc=off,dc=
gPCFileSysPath: \\\sysvol\\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D

You could change \\ to \\, where
samba-server is a member of the AD domain.
