Absolutely, and each user can properly access all files in their
directory coming off of [homes]:
[homes]
comment = Home Directories
path = /lvg1/exports/home/%U
browseable = no
writable = yes
valid users = %S
create mode = 0664
directory mode = 0775
# If you want users samba doesn't recognize to be mapped to a guest user
; map to guest = bad user
Sometimes when I login I also see this type of an error in the logs:
