This configuration option exists in 2.2 already, however it is not
compatible with smbd as a fileserver. (There are subtle assumptions
about the operation of each end of the smbd <-> winbind chain in this
circumstance).
This option is however stable and tested in 3.0, and in 2.2 environments
where smbd need not run (workstations, mail servers etc).
