idmap / passdb / group mapping

Hi!

I'm loosing the track about idmap a bit. Simo committed some idmap
stuff this morning, but what is currently finished, what's not and what parts 
could I and others help out with ?

Now that unixsam has gone away and replaced by guestsam, is it still 
desired to have multidb support removed the passdb and put into a
seperate module?
