Samba 2.2.8 - Snap Server Support

Yes, essentially we are. We have two products, a BSD based one (SnapOS) and
a Linux based one (GuardianOS). Both use Samba.

Anyway, we've probably strayed far off the normal cannon of Samba Technical
discussion... back to your regularly scheduled programming

Ahhhh.  That sounds more like it.  Doesn't make much sense to me to pay
all those licensing fees when Samba is free.

So is SNAP using a modified version of SAMBA??

Maybe what you're thinking of is Dell, who previously was an OEM for our
SnapOS. They decided to go with Microsoft, and our now using Windows SAK
for
their NAS.
