samba225 fails to create "new folder" on solaris 2.6

We have recently upgraded to samba 225 and the shares are on a solaris 2.6
box.  When a windows 2000 client 
attempts to create a "new folder" from explorer the following error message
is displayed.

"Unable to create the folder "New Folder"
The system cannot find the file specified.

We previously used samba 223a and no changes were made to our smb.conf file.
I have turned up logging to level 3 
and below is the output from the client log.
