Mapped Drives

Hi,
can you tell me why mapped Unix drives fail to reconnect at logon, when this option is ticked. This works fine under WIndows NT but not Windows XP. CAn you tell me if this is a Samba thing or Windows XP. Can you tell me what the solution is.
