Unable to get to Solaris 8 drive from 2000

I have a Solaris 8 installation that I need to share with a 2000 box and am 
getting this message when I try: "The account is not authorized to log in 
from this station"
I have setup Samba 2.2.2 and built a very simple smb.conf to test it out:
[global]
workgroup=nima
username map=/usr/local/samba/lib/users.map
security=user

[Vign_Share]
path=/opt/Vign_Share
writeable=yes
public=yes
guest ok=yes

Please help me with this, I am very desperate.
