User Additions For Samba 3.0

In looking over the 3.0 alpha programs and documentation, when utilizing an
LDAP backend, there are at least 4 different descriptions of maintaining
users, smbpasswd, net user, pdbedit, and smbldap-tools. Which, if any will
be the preferred way of maintaining users once Version 3.0 is released?
