error compiling

Using openbsd 2.9

I did a cvs update today on Samba 2_2

after configureing, I did a make and got

Compling smbd/notify_kernel.c
Linking bin/smbd
ld: invalid command option '--export-dynamic'
colect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** Error code 1

Stop in samba/source (line 507 of Makefile)

Can anyone give me pointers?  I'm totally ingorant of link errors and how
to fix them.
