Problem

Hi,
I am running samba 2.0.7 on linux RH 7.1.
I have two problems.

1. When I ping "$ping <windows_hostname> " from Linux,
it returns unknown host. I suppose it caused that Windows can't recognize
Linux machine. (But "ping <linux_hostname> works.)

2. When I type the command on linux
  $smbclient //<hostname>/tmp
it returns "tree connect failed.:ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (Bad password ....).

I appriciate any feed back or comment.
