PHP smbpwd licanse

I want to publish a php extension to provide functions witch generate NT and
LM password hash.

I use the source/lib/md4.c and source/libsmb/smbdes.c files. 

I'm not sure if  this is possible because PHP uses the PHP license and samba
GPL.

function list:
string smbntpwd( string password )
string smblmpwd( string password )

This is usefull to manage SAMBA Accounts in LDAP Directories or MySQL
with PHP scripts.
