CVS 2_2 configure.in newer than configure?

When I use CVS to get the latest 2.2 samba, configure.in is newer than configure:
    -rwxr-xr-x   1 rab      tcs        365839 Feb 28 20:14 configure*
    -rw-r--r--   1 rab      tcs         77410 Mar  1 12:50 configure.in

But when I look using CVSWeb it appears not to be so...
 configure   1.125.4.113   5 days  jra   Attempt to fix Solaris winbind nss build. Jeremy.
 configure.in   1.130.4.115   5 days  herb   fix typo caught by Mike Gerdts

What gives?
