Juergen,  

Thanks for the work, but I don't really want to put this into 
SAMBA_2_2.  It would require a decent amount of testing with what I think
would be very little demand.  "security = domain" is really preferred.
I know people still use server mode in 2.2, but I don't think the risk of 
destablizing a branch we are trying to get away from is worth it.
I had actually decided previously (when andrew did this to HEAD) that
it would not be going into 2.2 due to timing....
