Already fixed for 2.2.5.

Any patches should really be done against HEAD.  Pending good feedback, 
the 2.2.x branch is in serious bug fix mode only.  We need to focus on 
3.0.  That said, feel free to coordinate efforts on the LDAP backend
here.
