Starting/Stopping Samba (smbd and nmbd), PID files

Hi,
It appeared to me that when I change the 'killproc" in the
/etc/init.d/rc.d/smb file in to "killall -w" the smb and nmb daemons are
stopped and started properly (samba 2.2.5, RH 7.0).
