hi all!

I've got a problem of joining to AD domain. I have no thoughts what happens
but I can describe it:

when I try to join to ADS server (SP2) which is in native mode and is PDC/KDC of
domain sample.example.com everything works fine. But when I try to get it
worked like PDC/KDC of example.com it is unable to join to this domain correctly,
i.e. in the first case I've got the next ticket:

Ticket cache: FILE:/big/krb5cc_0_1
Default principal: root at SAMPLE.EXAMPLE.COM

Valid starting Expires Service principal
07/15/02 17:56:41 07/16/02 03:53:53 krbtgt/SAMPLE.EXAMPLE.COM at SAMPLE.EXAMPLE.COM
07/15/02 17:53:53 07/16/02 03:53:53 ldap/kerber at SAMPLE.EXAMPLE.COM
07/15/02 17:53:53 07/16/02 03:53:53 ldap/kerber at SAMPLE.EXAMPLE.COM
07/15/02 17:54:01 07/16/02 03:53:53 kadmin/changepw at SAMPLE.EXAMPLE.COM

The second case looks like:

Ticket cache: FILE:/big/krb5cc_0
Default principal: root at EXAMPLE.COM

Valid starting Expires Service principal
07/15/02 17:58:17 07/16/02 03:58:17 krbtgt/EXAMPLE.COM at EXAMPLE.COM
07/15/02 17:59:28 07/16/02 03:58:17 ldap/kerber at EXAMPLE.COM
07/15/02 17:59:28 07/16/02 03:58:17 ldap/kerber at EXAMPLE.COM
<here_must_be_placed_kadmin_changepw_string>

During getting this one 'net' utility is timed out.

It is interesting is there any dependence on domain name (for the second case it is top-level domain)?
Unfortunately I had no chance to use any network traffic analyzer.
If someone got the same problem, please let me know.

regards,
