malloc without check in 2.2

In samba 2.2 cvs from 15.01.2002 I found the following malloc calls without a 
check of the result


utils/status.c at line 537

in libsmb/libsmbclient.c at line 564 ???

nsswitch/winbindd_group.c 978

rpcclient/rpcclient.c 441

there are also malloc's witout a check in different test and torture source, 
but I don't know if it is worth the effort to clean them up.
