I'm quickly losing confidence in 2.2.3a :-(  I haven't got time to
look right now (got a PDC upgrade bug to track down).

Thanks for the report Bill.  Could you post your smb.conf, 
a http:// link to logs and any helpful information for 
reproducing the bug.  Thanks...
