Hi,

I'm running samba-2.2.3a on HP/UX 11.00 and get a lot of messages like:

=============================================================================
Feb 8 11:30:02 pandora smbd[22922]: posix_fcntl_lock: WARNING: lock request at offset 0, length 9223372036854779000 returned
Feb  8 11:30:02 pandora smbd[22922]: [2002/02/08 11:30:02, 0] locking/posix.c:(662)
Feb 8 11:30:02 pandora smbd[22922]: an Invalid argument error. This can happen when using 64 bit lock offsets
Feb  8 11:30:02 pandora smbd[22922]: [2002/02/08 11:30:02, 0] locking/posix.c:(663)
Feb 8 11:30:02 pandora smbd[22922]: on 32 bit NFS mounted file systems.
=============================================================================

This server has no NFS-filesystems mounted so I wouldn't expect to see such a message.

Can these messages be te result of an underlying filesystem thats only 32bit (or doesn't support largefiles) (or is this the same)?
