ldap changes from secdesc patch

I've added the capability to my ldap mod routines to pass berval structs
now, and our basic ldap modification routines are fairly inline with each
other, other than the memory leak I found in yours.  Could you please check
mine out and see if that works for you?  It's very fortunate that we
thought alike here...

I've not merged the secdesc changes themselves at this point, because I
need to look at them a little better first...
