hi

i am new to samba . i am going through the samba source code.

in the smb.h header an offset into message for commmon items has been specified.

it states that smb_com starts at offset 8. can anyone please tell me the exact order of where, what is placed in the packet?

without the words and bytes the packet size is said to be 39. i don't know how? i want to know the packet format.

for instance i know that the first 4 bytes of a CIFS/SMB header consists of 0xFF followed by"SMB".
