winbindd problem

They all have restrict-anonymous.

I have been working under the impression that the domain secret was used by
winbindd. Why would I want to use a different username/password?

Hmmm, is it possible that some of your DCs have restrict-anonymous set and
some don't?

You may need to use the username and passwd stuff that Tim talked about. I
know I will be :-)
