Winbindd in HEAD: cannot deal with 15,000 users+ -stack trace with HEAD code

Sorry to do this to you, but could you re-run with current HEAD (so I
can match line numbers) and do a 'bt full' to get the local variables?

Also include the value of any pointers you think might be relevent -
like the 'names' pointer/array etc.
