a *JIT* patch... we are migrating from the old ldap stuff (´98) to the 
new and the MACHINE.SID was damaged in one domain when updated the code 
via CVS. I copied again the old SID, download the new CVS, restarted, 
and all the machines remains in the domain... uf!
