ERROR: nmbd is already running. File
/var/opt/samba/locks/nmbd.pid exists and
process id 304 is running.
*******************************************
When I do a ps -ef |grep nmbd  I get:
root   304     1  0   Jul 18 ?        0:55 /opt/samba/bin/nmbd -D
-d 0 -l /var/opt/samba/log.nmb

Should I kill this process?
This is what I have in /etc/inetd.conf

# SMB connections handled by Samba
swat stream tcp nowait root /opt/samba/bin/swat swat
netbios-ssn stream tcp nowait root /opt/samba/bin/smbd smbd
netbios-ns dgram udp wait root /opt/samba/bin/nmbd nmbd

Any help will be very much appreciated,
Wim
