I think there are people fixing it... see the thread "LDAP: profilePath
and smbHome macro expansion".
I'm testing this in XP. At
http://www.unav.es/cti/ldap-smb/ldap-smb-2_2-howto.html#patch_hex_exp I
wrote a personal-provisional patch for NT, but should runs for w2k...
