Just after I sent the mail I started thinking about this.
This was historically, when we had a real WIndows PDC and someone
decided that the Profiles should be on the Samba server but did not
want to add Unix-Users to the System.

This is odd, but does not cause the Problem since it worked with SP1 and
earlier.
