solaris cvs 2.2.2 compiling error

Apologies if this is known already:

Under sparc solaris 8:

Using LIBS = -lsec -lgen -lsocket -lnsl  -ldl
Compiling lib/util.c
lib/util.c: In function `transfer_file':
lib/util.c:559: `_write' undeclared (first use in this function)
lib/util.c:559: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
lib/util.c:559: for each function it appears in.)
make: *** [lib/util.o] Error 1

While under linux the error does not occur.  If I get time tomorrow I'll
have a look and see if I can work out why and email a fix.
