winbindd and trusted domains

Does winbindd allow to make use of trust relationships hosted by
Windows NT Server ?
I mean, if winbind maps accounts in his "home" domain to accounts on
the unix system, does it also map accounts in domains trusted by its
"home" domain ?

Sorry if it's quite trivial but I need to know and have no way to
check it now :(
