Hello,

The CVS of samba-2.2.2 fails to build for me. The error is:

Linking bin/smbclient
ld: fatal: symbol `xmalloc' is multiply-defined:
        (file lib/util.o and file /usr/local/lib/libreadline.a(xmalloc.o));
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to bin/smbclient
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** Error code 1

The change from the released 2.2.2 is that xmalloc is now defined in
lib/util.c whereas before it wasn't. Have I got a wrong version of
libreadline or is this a name clash that needs resolving?

Tom.
