smbpasswd minor failure or feature

I found what appears to be a problem with smbpasswd:

Problem: smbpasswd reports "NT_STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT" when the account
actually exists.
Samba Version: 2.2.2 (cvs -r tag: release-2.2.2)
Security: In smb.conf, security = share. If security = domain, smbpasswd
works correctly.
Platform: Linux i386, kernel 2.4.13, glibc 2.2.2 or glibc 2.2.4
Build flags: --prefix=/usr/local/samba --with-smbmount --with-winbind
PDC: NT 4

This used to work in the SAMBA_2_2 branch. The code from that branch on
2001-08-06 has been tested to work correctly.

There is cause for having the code not succeed if the security setting isn't
"domain", but if the new code is being written to disallow trust account
operations while in share mode, then the error should be more descriptive.
