codepages ... Esp in the packaging/RedHat spec file

As an aside, is codepage support modular in that if a new codepage file
is greated Samba can use it without modification to the core?

The reason I ask is that I think it would be pretty easy to write a Java
program that generates these codepage files. Java understands quite a
few different character encodings. This link has a list:
