No it looks fine, but I'm trying to minimize code changes
to get 2.2.1 out the door.

Gerald has done extensive testing in the current 2.2.1 CVS
and so I don't want to invalidate it by doing gratuitous
moves right now. As soon as 2.2.1 ships I'll apply these
changes.

And if you think moving functions around won't invalidate testing
results, then you haven't been developing software for long
enough :-) :-) :-).
