I've just released Samba 2.0.9. This release is being done because the
2.0.8 release did not fix the /tmp security hole.

Many thanks to Marc Jacobsen from HP for pointing out that 2.0.8 did
not fix the bug, and apologies from me to all those people who now
have to do two upgrades to Samba rather than one.

Note that the 2.2.0 release did fix the bug, so if you installed that
then you can ignore this release. Our logs show that the vast majority
of downloads have been for the 2.2.0 release so hopefully this means
most people won't have to download 2.0.9.

As usual the release is available on http://www.samba.org/ or
ftp://ftp.samba.org/pub/samba/

Cheers, Tridge
