large read/write?

Hello!

Is there any progress in solving problem in large read/write?
Or how can I change samba code to not use it?
I plan to install 2.2 PDC next week, but I can't install samba with 
such type of problem :(

btw, when next stable release? May be it is possible to remove all untested
code and make new release, because many problems since 2.2.0 solved and
I think that people wait long enough ....
