VFS issues

Reynaud, thanks for your comment on the various vfs-init prototypes.

However, the undefined symbol issue is still coming back to haunt me. I
compilied smbd w/ rdynamic as the temporary solution on linux while I played
w/ VFS, but just tried moving the module over to Solaris to have it fail.
The machine only has gcc 2.8.1 w/o that flag, but from the archive of when
this was last brought up this is heading in the wrong direction. How is
everyone else running even just the vfs examples?
