Funny.  I was looking at this from an Outlook client using
"Secure Password Authentication" (ala NTLM) just the other day.
I have a trace from an Exchange server and some example VC++
code I grabbed if you want to look at it.

It appears to be entirely undocumented :-)


btw...WIn2k AD does support simple binds I'm fairly certain.
But eewwww ;-)
