max connections

I am unsure how to set up Max connections
I want each person in anim group to only be able to log in once while people 
in other groups can log in as many times as they like.
Is this how I do it??

does this go in the conf file?

[Students]
        comment = Students logins
        path = /
	comment = %H
        valid users = @anim
        read only = No
        browseable = No
        follow symlinks = Yes
        max connections = 1
