Duh,

well guess what on win95 if nt smb support =, you can only
see files
with . (dots) in the name.

set it to nt smb support = yes, and it all works fine.

NT4 and Win2000 work with the setting set to either setting.

Now thats wierd !

We are going live tonight if the build version is released in time, our
CVS version announces itself
as 2.2.1 so it must be real close now.
