Samba Password Encryption vs. C209

[Andrew Edem]

The SSL code is it's own distribution (OpenSSL), I'm just using it to
compare the two. The Samba code looks fundamentally different than all the
other DES algorithms I've seen. (Including Tripple DES)

I'm really wondering WHY it is different.
