I'm particularly interested in disconnected operation.  It's something I
studied in that class I was taking.  It's also particularly interesting
to me now as I'm playing with a Sharp Zaurus palmtop (runs Linux and
Java, and someone ported Samba to it!)  I'm also doing a lot with
wireless and I figure palmtops & wireless are prime real-estate for
semi-connected filesystems.
