plaintext to smbpasswd

Hmm - good point.  I was thinking that this might get rid of the
confusion (stop the madness! (-:) between encrypted and plaintext
passwords for the end user.

I guess it doesn't really solve the problem that people see which
is forgetting to apply the plain text passwords registry patch.
The only solution there is to RTFM.
