printing = cups -- differences under Linux and solaris??

Hi,

I have tested printing=cups under Linux and under solaris.
Under Linux sambs uses as lpq-command lpq -P
Under solaris lpstat -q.

The problem is, that lpstat is much faster than lpq (my experience), so
that lpq slows down the whole thing.
But lpstat returns another syntax, so that the queue is not displayed in
a correct way und solaris.

Why does printing = cups uses these commands.
In print_cups.c there seems top be a http request in order to get the
queue info.

Do I have to use any configure flags to activate this.
(testparm shows:
printing = cups
        print command = lpr -r -P%p %s
        lpq command = lpq -P%p
        lprm command = lprm -P%p %j
        lppause command =
        lpresume command =
        queuepause command =
        queueresume command =

Thank you very much

greetings

hansjörg
